Respect for dignity, individual autonomy and the ability to make one’s own choices; non-discrimination, full participation and social inclusion, equal opportunities: these are the fundamental principles that inspired the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities adopted by the UN on 13 December 2006 and ratified by Italy.
In the wake of the Convention, we have embarked on a path to improve the accessibility of the water park and its services for all people with disabilities, because “fun” must be within everyone’s reach, especially when children are looking for it.
We began by breaking down the barriers on the web, since hospitality first of all involves the accessibility of information.
We have done our best to ensure the full usability of the contents of this website regardless of the physical and sensory abilities of the users who visit it.
This site takes into account the WCAG 2.1 guidelines on accessibility for website development.
In particular, validators were used to verify compliance with the guidelines on accessibility and a working group was also created consisting of people with disabilities (visual, hearing and with reduced mobility in the upper limbs) which reported to the developers the improvements to be made.
For technical reasons, it was not possible to make all sections and pages of the site fully accessible. We are working to find solutions and we will be happy to receive any reports and suggestions to improve accessibility.
The accessibility check was conducted by Yeah, a social cooperative specializing in accessibility and inclusion services, which issued the declaration of accessibility shown here.
